College Placement Talk:
Parent Workshop
2009
marked the inaugural College Placement Talk: Parent
Workshop. This event gives parents/guardians the chance
to learn more about the college placement process as
well as ways to narrow down the types of schools that
will best fit their student-athlete. The panel of
college coaches, parents that have been through the
college placement process and former college
student-athletes will help answer questions about types
of institutions, types of obstacles that can be
encountered throughout the process and provide incite on
how to make the right decisions when helping your
student-athlete choose the right school for them.
Parent Workshop Dates:
Summer Showcase - July 16, 2010
Fall Showcase - October 22, 2010
Winter Showcase - January 7, 2011

Format:
The College Placement Talk: Parent Workshop will be held
from 8:30am - 10:45am and will feature:

minute College Placement Talk
-
45
minute Questions & Answer period with a panel (college
coaches, parent/guardian that have been though the
process, former student-athletes, etc.)
-
45
minutes Open House with panel
Pricing Information:
-
Registration fee waived for Parents who have players
participating in the Recruiting Camp or "Maximum
Exposure" Event.

Early Registration via website: $30 for 1
parent/guardian or $40 for 2 parents/guardians of the
same student-athlete
-
Walk-up Registration: $40 for 1 parent/guardian or $50
for 2 parents/guardians of the same student-athlete

workshop is for parents only, no student-athletes.
