Event Procedures & Format:

• TCS Rising Stars Showcase Event entry fee is $650 per team.  Entry fee is due within two weeks of entry.  Open to 16u, & 18u in A & Gold divisions and Junior College teams.  Junior College team entry fee is $350.00 per team.

• Showcase format is Round Robin Exhibition Games.  Each team will have 5 Showcase games at 1 hour and 30 minutes (drop dead).  Each team will be assigned to one park for all 5 Showcase games.  We have access to  many fields including, but not limited to: Bamford Sports Complex, Brian Piccolo Park, Central Park, Driftwood Park, Nova Southeastern University, Pop Travers, and Sunset Park.  Please visit our Maps and Directions page for further information.
   

• Official exhibition play will start on Friday, October 22nd.  All teams should be prepared to play their first game on Friday morning and be prepared to play through early Sunday afternoon.
   

• Game balls are provided.
   

• Pitching Distance for all age division is 43 ft.
   

• TCS Rising Stars does not provide water for the players.  All teams should bring their own water/Gatorade coolers, as well as, ice and cups for their players.
   

• Teams that cancel after the entry deadline (September 12, 2010) in the tournament will be charged a $400 cancellation fee.  After the game schedule has been completed, teams that cancel will forfeit all rights to a refund.  Also, there will be no refund of entry fees due to uncontrollable circumstances, such as weather or not complying with tournament rules.
   

• It is MANDATORY that ALL teams submit Player Profile by September 19th.  This information can be done through our online Player Profile Page.  Each player will have their profile information posted on our secure website available for over 1600 registered college coaches to view, as well as, included in the College Coach Showcase Book.  Any changes made to the Player Profile database after June 17th may not be included in the College Coaches Showcase Book.
   

• All teams are required to book their team hotel rooms through our hotel coordinator, Liz.  Please submit your hotel request through the Hotel Request Form.  Please allow at least 14 days for Liz to contact you.  When Liz contacts you, you will be given a selection of hotels to choose from.  Once you select a hotel that best suits your needs, Liz will send your team contact information to the hotel representative, who will then contact you.  Failure to book your team rooms through our hotel coordinator will result in a sur-charge of $50.00 per player, not to exceed $500.00.

• At check-in, all teams must submit a copy of their team team insurance and provide a working cell number where we can contact you during the tournament.  TCS Rising Stars is an ASA Sanctioned event, therefore if your team is ASA sanctioned you may submit a copy of the team insurance or ASA roaster.  If your team is not ASA sanctioned you will have to pay a small fee of $6.00 at time of registration. This is mandatory.
   

• Posting of College Coaches who attend will occur after the tournament is complete.  You can find the list of coaches under the Attended Colleges blue tab on the left hand-side of the web page.
